Hines Private Wealth Solutions Launches in Europe and Expands Leadership Team to Serve Investors
Skilled industry leaders tapped to deepen relationships across distribution channels and broaden platform access across the globe.
(HOUSTON) – Hines, a leading global real estate investment manager, today announced new leadership appointments to support the growth of the Hines Private Wealth Solutions platform (“Hines PWS”). The additions demonstrate the firm’s commitment to individual investors and conviction in its ability to support their investment goals through innovative real estate solutions.
Europe Launch
While Hines has worked with institutional investors in Europe for decades, this latest push will bring access to Hines-sponsored solutions to individual investors in the region for the first time. To spearhead the effort, Hines has appointed Eugenio Cicconetti, previously the Head of the Global Financial Client Group at Schroders, to serve as the European Head of Hines PWS.
With 20 years of experience addressing complex investor needs through tailored strategies, London-based Cicconetti has the ideal background to lead the platform’s European expansion efforts on the ground. He will be responsible for cultivating and strengthening the firm’s relationships with high-net-worth clients, family offices, and private banks while providing customized investment solutions that combine global real estate expertise with the potential for long-term value. Cicconetti will report to Paul Ferraro, Global Head of Hines PWS.
Americas Expansion
The seasoned U.S.-based PWS team has been bolstered by three significant hires whose roles are designed to support the platform’s strategic growth by focusing on its distribution channels.
John Caruso is Head of Strategic Accounts, responsible for leading the business development strategy to grow client relationships within the private wealth segment and support distribution efforts. His team manages key relationships within the wirehouse, private bank, independent broker-dealer and enterprise RIA channels. Previously at Goldman Sachs where he served as Vice President of National Accounts, Caruso brings deep experience cultivating strategic partnerships on behalf of world-class wealth management firms.
Charles Cho is Head of Family Office-Americas. In this role, Cho and his team are responsible for developing, maintaining and deepening relationships with new and existing single and multifamily offices. In addition, he assists in identifying product development priorities while building a communication strategy for the family office channel to increase visibility across the industry. Cho formerly served as Global Head of Family Office Development at Marathon and worked closely with family offices and other investors at BlackRock prior to that.
Justin Arasin is Head of RIA, focusing specifically on bringing private wealth solutions to this critical segment of financial professionals. He will work to build awareness of the firm’s offerings within the expanding sector and develop strategies to target this key segment of the private wealth industry. Formerly the Head of Capital Formation and Product Development at U.S. Realty Advisors, and Head of Alternative Investments Distribution at Nuveen before that, Arasin joins the firm with significant business development experience in real estate and alternative investments.
“We have assembled an incredible pool of talent to take Hines Private Wealth Solutions to the next level,” said Ferraro, who joined the firm in February 2024 to oversee Hines’ global private wealth strategy after leading Carlyle Private Wealth. “We believe there is a tremendous opportunity for Hines to leverage its expertise and global footprint to bring compelling investment solutions to more individual investors than ever before, and we have a terrific team in place to do just that.”
